Kajabi pricing, decoded.

Kajabi is the premium all-in-one for course businesses, and in 2026 it ships real AI tooling. The price of admission is a serious subscription plus fee layers most comparisons skip. Here is the full bill, from Kajabi's own pricing page.

The plans

PlanMonthly billingAnnual billingProductsContacts
Starterentry tier1250
Basic$179/mo$143/mo52,500
Growth$249/mo$199/mo5025,000
Pro$499/mo$399/moUnlimited100,000

The two fee layers on top

  • Card processing via Kajabi Payments: 2.9% + $0.30 on Starter and Basic, 2.8% on Growth, 2.7% on Pro.
  • The third-party penalty: take payments through an outside provider instead and Kajabi adds its own platform fee: 5% on Starter, 2% on Basic, 1% on Growth, 0.5% on Pro.

The break-even math

On monthly billing, Basic costs $2,148 a year before a single sale. Against a flat 10% platform like Gumroad, $179 a month only pays for itself above roughly $1,800 a month in sales. Against a 2% pay-per-sale model, the crossover never comes: 2% of $10,000 a month is still $200.

That is not an argument that Kajabi is overpriced; it is an argument about who it is for. If you run funnels, email sequences, coaching, podcasts, and communities from one dashboard and your volume is real, the bundle can be worth it. Kajabi's AI (Cofounder, Creator.io) also genuinely helps you plan and draft. What no tier does is run the store for you: the testing, pricing, and recovering stays your job, whichever plan you buy.
